An Archbold man is headed to prison for two years after pleading guilty to stealing $37,500 from an elderly Bryan widow over a five-year period. 27 year old Keith Pedigo could have had as long as a three-year sentence for third degree theft from an elderly person. IN addition to the two years behind bars, Pedigo will have to pay $25,000 in restitution to the woman when he is released. Pedigo is to report to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on Monday. If he behaves himself while he is incarcerated, Pedigo will be eligible for parole after six months, at which time he will have to begin making those restitution payments a little early. The Bryan Times reports that the investigation began when the woman got a foreclosure notice. Pedigo had been visiting her once a month, when she received her social security check, and would drive her to the bank to help her take care of her bills… or so he told her.
