Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative is operating under a peak alert today. It’s all due to the hot temperatures, and the load forecast. PPEC reports that it will be under a peak alert from 2–8 p.m. That’s when all customers are asked to conserve energy, along with any peak hours, to help the company keep power costs down, and the juice flowing in this time of heavy consumption. For more information on ways to conserve, visit www.PPEC.coop.
