An Angola man accused of stabbing his mother and sister back in January changed his plea in Steuben Superior Court on Friday. 49-year-old Jeffrey Allen Peppler offered to plead guilty to killing his sister if prosecutors would drop the charge of attempted murder of his mother. Judge William Fee will consider the bargain, and if accepted, Peppler will be sentenced on August 28 to a prison term of 45–60 years, which was also part of the plea bargain. He also waived his right to appeal the judge’s decision if the deal is accepted.
