Paulding Co. Farm to Host Cancer Fundraiser

A Pauld­ing County farm is mak­ing prepa­ra­tions to host a statewide fundraiser for can­cer research next week­end. McClure Farms in Wash­ing­ton Town­ship will host the event called Cul­ti­vat­ing a Cure, which is put on by the Ohio Farm Bureau and has raised nearly $200,000 since its incep­tion in 2011. Pro­ceeds have ben­e­fit­ted can­cer research at the Arthur G. James Can­cer Hos­pi­tal and at Ohio State Uni­ver­sity. Sen. Rob Port­man is sched­uled to be the keynote speaker at this year’s event.
