A Paulding County man was found dead Wednesday evening following an accident involving a farm tractor. Deputies responded to a call shortly before 8:30pm and found 75-year-old Richard Ross lying in a field west of Jackson Township. It appeared that Ross had fallen from the cab of his tractor, possibly because of a health issue since investigators did not find any rough terrain or evidence of wrong-doing by Ross. The incident remains under investigation.
