Police discovered more than 25 trash bags full of items used to make methamphetamine tossed into Pigeon Creek this past weekend. Steuben County sheriff’s staff and Indiana conservation officers pulled the bags from a stretch of creek between Golden Lake and Hogback Lake on Sunday. After further study, the materials were disposed of the following day. The incident remains under investigation.
