John Keller, 81

John F. Keller, age 81, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. John had worked in quality control at Bohn Aluminum in Angola, Indiana for over 30 years prior to his retirement.

John F. Keller was born April 17, 1934 in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Alfred and Cleo (Walker) Keller, Sr. He graduated from Hicksville High School and served in Germany with the US Army.

He married Nancy L. (Doolittle) Asher on October 23, 2003 in Las Vegas and she survives. John is also survived by stepdaughters, Mary Jane (Bruce) Stanton, of Union City, Michigan and April (Richie Rose) Asher, of Battle Creek, Michigan; stepson, Peter Asher, of Battle Creek; six grandchildren; a great granddaughter; sisters, Adella Miller, of Hicksville and Martha Frances, of Greensboro, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ted Keller and Alfred “Jiggs” Keller and a sister, Doris Jones.

In accordance with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service in Bryan.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Community Health Professionals Hospice program.
