A Fremont man will spend 10 years of a 20 year sentence behind bars, following his sentencing on Monday in Steuben Superior Court. 23 year old Jeremiah Bates entered a guilty plea to a Level 2 felony of Dealing Methamphetamine. Bates was also placed on probation for five years and was given credit for 151 days already served in jail. He was one of two men who were arrested back in April following an undercover investigation.
Bates and 28-year-old Christopher Henkle were both accused of allegedly selling meth to a confidential informant last December. Henkle is scheduled to go on trial October 29th.
