Pumpkins equal prosperity for local man

An area man is a richer man because of one of the pump­kins he grew. Jim Bok of Cecil took his biggest and best to the Ohio Val­ley Giant Pump­kin Grow­ers Weigh Off in Can­field over the week­end. His 19 hun­dred and nine pound behe­moth was good enough to earn him sec­ond place and a three thou­sand dol­lar prize. On Sun­day he pulled into the Oak­land Nurs­ery in Dublin and took sixth place with a nearly 14 hun­dred pounder, goof for another 100 dol­lar price,. Also last week, we won 500 dol­lars with a 1,240 pound pump­kin in Indianapolis.
