Pioneer seeks more room for safety equipment, services

There’s a proposal on the table to expand the safety building in the Village of Pioneer. The Bryan Times reports right now the idea is being considered to see if something like that could be done without raising taxes. What they want to do is add three addtional bays, totalling roughly 27 hundred square feet to the south side of the building. Village officials say they have too much equipment and not enough places to put it righ now. A conference room would also be part of the build out.
