New pool in Wauseon? Who’s buying?

Wauseon vot­ers who want a new com­mu­nity pool will be putting their money where their mouths are in the Novem­ber elec­tion. A bal­lot ques­tion will deter­mine whether vot­ers are will­ing to fund a five year 2.6 mill tax levy to finance con­suc­tion of the com­mu­nity pool. For a per­son who owns a 100 thou­sand dol­lar home, it would mean an addtional 91 dol­lars a year out of pocket. A sim­i­lar res­o­lu­ton was shot down in 1998.
