According to a news release from The Williams County Prosecutors Office, County Prosecutor Katherine Zartman has received confirmation that Sheriff Steve Towns has been cleared of any possible charges in connection with the Bryan School Board investigations. Ohio BCI, in conjunction with the Ohio Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Section, concluded that Sheriff Towns did not commit any crime in connection with the case. The Ohio Ethics Commission also declined to persue the matter.
