Gas prices on this Monday are well-below $2 a gallon. At last check, the lowest was at the Sunoco at County Rd. 15 at U.S. 6. It’s selling for $1.79 for a gallon of regular unleaded. Triple A says prices have continually dropped and are expected to remain under $2 a gallon until Christmas. The reason for the drop in prices is due to midwest refineries at capacity and lower demand.
