Two of Defiance’s top city officials will stay on with the approval of the next mayor. On Tuesday, council discussed contract renewals for administrator Jeff Leonard, and law director David Williams. Council did not object. The actual terms of the contracts will be negotiated in January after McCann takes over as mayor.
