Two residents called 911 Wednesday night on odor complaints. What they smelled was a new liner that was being applied to existing sewer conduits. The Supervisor of Administrative Services said they had sent out notices in the area to alert residents. Firefighters went to Broad Street and South East Avenue and vented manhole covers to dissipate the odor.
