A fire in southwest New Haven leaves a home severely damaged Thursday evening… along Albatross Drive off Moeller Road. Officials say…half of the home is completely destroyed in the blaze. Small clouds of smoke could still be seen…as area crews were still working at the scene. Crews saw flames through the roof when they arrived. No injuries reported, but a dog did die in the fire. They were able to get the fire under control in roughly 30 minutes.
