A second Defiance County Drug Awareness forum being held Thursday evening

The first of two Defiance County Drug Awareness forums was held Tuesday evening at the Huber Opera House in Hicksville. Another forum will be held tonight in Defiance at the Defiance Community Auditorium from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 6 p.m. The forums are being sponsored by the Defiance County Drug Free Coalition, with Jessica Myers as its executive director. The forums are being held in the hope of finding answers to the sometimes overwhelming heroin addiction that is causing chaos in many areas. While the audience was small at Hicksville, the speakers were outstanding with representation from many facets of the community.
