A second suspect in connection with a shooting incident in Angola

Steuben County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a second suspect in connection with the investigation into an alleged shooting incident that occurred on CR 20 N near CR 100 E east of Angola during the early morning hours of March 9th. 22 year old Harlee David Zeigler of Butler has been charged with one count of aiding in criminal recklessness involving a firearm. Zeigler is currently held in the Steuben County Jail without bond on an unrelated matter and appeared in court on Monday for an initial hearing on the new offense. The alleged shooter involved was identified as 22 year old Derek Bryner of Butler. Bryner was located and taken into custody later that same day and Bryner still remains held in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond. Public court records also indicated that Bryner had a 2013 felony conviction out of DeKalb County, Indiana.
