A Spate Of Petty Crimes In SWMI

Michigan State Police is looking into several thefts in St. Joseph and Branch counties. Car batteries were taken from vehicles on Chicago Road in Coldwater Township, sometime between December 5 and December 11. Troopers were also called to Patterson Lane in Three Rivers after a package that was taken from a porch. Then they were called to investigate a theft from a construction site on Shaffer Road in Constantine Township. The owner discovered numerous tools missing from the site.
