Accident On Coldwater Lake Under Investigation

The Branch County Sher­iffs Depart­ment Marine Patrol is inves­ti­gat­ing a water­craft acci­dent that hap­pened Sat­ur­day on Cold­wa­ter Lake. A girl from Napoleon was hurt in that mishap which hap­pened when the girl was thrown from a tube being pulled by a boat. Inves­ti­ga­tors say she may have struck one of the other two rid­ers. The dri­ver of the boat and the other pas­sen­gers took the girl to shore. She was then taken by ambu­lance to Parkview Regional Med­ical Cen­ter. So far, her name was not released. The Sheriff’s Depart­ment so far, has not released details of her injuries.
