Judel K Henricks, age 74, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away in her home on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Mrs. Henricks attended Edgerton High School and was a member of the Melbern United Methodist Church. She drove bus for the Hilltop Local Schools for a number of years and worked at HRH Industries, where she met her husband, Glen Smith. Judel enjoyed traveling and thrived on farm life and being in control of the day-to-day operation of her family farm.
Judel K Henricks was born in Bryan, Ohio, on August 11, 1940, the daughter of Bruce F. and Dawn (Peltcs) Henricks. She married Glenn J. Smith on February 18, 1979, in Paulding, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2008.
Survivors include her children, Robin (Clarence) Herman, of Edon, Ohio, Ric (Carol) Henricks, of Bryan, Robbie (Larrry) Maassel, of Malinta, Ohio, and Richard Henricks, also of Bryan; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Saundra Bandy, of Paulding, Ohio, and Tamara (Doug) Perras, of Milbury, Ohio; and three brothers, Marvin (Janet) Henricks, of Montpelier, Ohio, Timothy (Robin) Henricks and Todd (Kathy) Henricks, both of Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jud Henricks, one grandson, Tyson Henricks, a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Henricks, one sister, Sharon Miller, and a brother-in-law, Erwin Bandy.
Services for Judel K Henricks will be on Friday, August 14, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Bill Priest officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, near Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, from 4:00–8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
