The Williams County Fair Board during its regular monthly meeting Thursday voted to hold the line on the daily admission to this year’s Williams County Fair at $5, with children 12 and under admitted free. In addition, the fair board is closer to its goal of raising $50,000 to match a $50,000 state grant to build a new goat barn. To date, the board has raised about $30,000 in donations, according to committee chairman Brian Wieland. In addition, board members discussed ways to make it easier for people to make anonymous donations to the barn effort.
