Discussions are underway by American Municipal Power (AMP) Ohio with Holiday City village council to consider hosting a 750-kilowatt-hour solar field. The proposed site is on 5 acres owned by the village along the railroad adjacent to village hall on W. Jackson St., on the west side. Village officials said that would be considered a small field with 2,700 modules which would be much smaller than Bryan Municipal Utilities’ solar field which has 23,530 modules. Although council members have expressed interest in the project, they are seeking information about the length of lease, panel technology and other details.
