Angola Car Cruise Today

In Angola, more than 250 cars are expected to take part in today’s Cruise To The Mon­u­ment. The event will run from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Last year was the first year, and more than 180 cars took part.

Down­town Angola will be closed to vehi­cle traf­fic from West Street to South Martha and from Gilmore to West Gale Street. Traf­fic going around down­town should use the detour streets of McKin­ley to Mill Street to Williams Street.

There will be no park­ing from noon today until 2:00pm to allow time prior to the cruise-in for exist­ing parked cars to vacate the area. All cars parked after the roads have been closed and the event starts will remain for the dura­tion of the event.
