Angola man facing child molestation charges

A rural Angola man has been arrested in connection with a Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigations into allegations of child molesting. Steuben Sheriff’s detectives responded to Cameron Hospital on Tuesday for a report of a sexual assault of a child that allegedly occurred sometime Monday evening in the 3300 block of South Old US 27 in Steuben County’s rural Steuben Township. 29 year old Samuel L. Lambright of rural Angola was identified as the suspect and taken into custody Wednesday night. Lambright was booked into the Steuben County Jail on two counts of felony child molesting. Lambright remains held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
