Angola Man Sentenced In Strangulation Case

An Angola man was sen­tenced in Steuben Cir­cuit Court on Mon­day, to 360 days in jail after enter­ing guilty pleas to one count of stran­gu­la­tion and two counts of inva­sion of pri­vacy. Tyrone Bussing will serve 180 days of a 497 day sen­tence on the stran­gu­la­tion count and then he will have to serve con­sec­u­tive 90 day sen­tences on the other two counts. As part of a plea deal, four other inva­sion of pri­vacy charges plus a bat­tery charge were dis­missed by prosecutors.
