Animal Abuse Trial To Start

The case against Vickie Cor­nell, owner of Skinny Lit­tle Buddy’s Ani­mal Shel­ter in Edon, is headed for trial.

The trial, which is expected to last for up to three days, is set to begin Mon­day, March 24th, in Bryan Munic­i­pal Court.

Cor­nell faces 20 counts of cru­elty to ani­mals.

Back in August, offi­cials seized and turned over to the Williams County Humane Soci­ety, more than 50 ani­mals from the shel­ter after they were found in poor liv­ing con­di­tions.

The Bryan Times reports that Bryan City Attor­ney Rhonda Fisher will pros­e­cute the case.
