Annie’s Law moves one step closer to becoming law

A bill designed to protect people from repeat drunk drivers is one step closer to becoming law. The Ohio Senate passed Annie’s Law, which would allow judges to use an ignition interlock system for first-time OVI offenders. The law is named after Annie Rooney, who was hit and killed by a repeat drunk driving offender in Ross County in 2013.
