Williams County health officials say the Artesian of Pioneer proposal to drill into the Aquifer and sell millions of gallons of water a day to communities outside the county is a public health issue. The County Board of Health unanimously passed a resolution, opposing the AOP plan. It questions “the risks and harms to the public health of large-scale water removal” from the aquifer.
