Another Scam Circulating. We Warned!

Another scam is mak­ing the rounds in our area, and this time the warn­ing comes from the Bryan Area Cham­ber of Com­merce.

Cham­ber offi­cials say that a local busi­ness got an email adver­tis­ing a “Bryan Award Pro­gram.” The email requested $150, promis­ing a plaque for a “Bryan Award.“

Accord­ing to the cham­ber, it’s a scam. In fact, they say there is no such orga­ni­za­tion offer­ing any such award.

If you get such an email, you should con­tact police, but don’t send any money.
