The numbers are in and it was another successful Blizzard Auction Saturday and will help put shoes on the feet of children all across the county. The event, hosted on the air at WBNO-WQCT, auctioned off around 350 items in 13 different blocks throughout the day, raising around $11,500 for Montpelier H.U.G.S. (Help Us Give Shoes), according to Jaimi Geren, mother of Montpelier H.U.G.S.’s founder, 12-year-old Jade Scott. There are still raffle tickets and some leftover items.
