It looks like Montpelier isn’t going along with Ed Kidston’s vision. The Montpelier Village Council voted on and passed a resolution expressing concern over Artesia of Pioneer’s plan to pump water from the aquifer and sell it to surrounding counties. Montpelier joins a growing list of area communities that don’t appear to be supporting the plan any time soon.
