Area authorities working to solve a series of stolen vehicles

Area authorities have been working to solve a series of stolen vehicles. Just last week, authorities recovered a stolen vehicle that was taken from a Branch County home near Gilead Lake. One suspect involved with the theft was later apprehended. Authorities in the tri-state area continuing to look for the other suspect, identified as 32 year old Aaron Robert Loffer from Angola. He is wanted in connection with several vehicle and firearm thefts. Loffer is currently at large and is reported to be armed. If anyone has information on Loffer or has seen him, they are asked to call 911 immediately.
