The rivers in the region have crested, but some flood warnings still remain in effect until Wednesday. In Defiance, the Maumee River crested at 14 feet on Thursday. Flood stage is 10. The river was slowly receding, but it is expected to rise slightly again today. The National Weather Service is not predicting the river to fall below flood stage until Tuesday afternoon. The Auglaize River in Defiance crested at 17 feet. Flood stage is 21. Water remains over several roadways in and around Stryker as well as Evansport.
