Area Woman Dies In Stabbing

A Montpelier woman dies in Toledo. Officials say Danialle Swan was stabbed at a gas station on Monroe St. Swan later succumbed at an area hospital. Thomas Smith is charged with murder in the incident. He was booked into the Lucas County Jail…bond was set at $1 million dollars. They say Smith stabbed Swan several times in the chest and abdomen. Multiple witnesses, as well as video footage, aided in the investigation. They think they were strangers.
