Arrest in carryout robbery

An arrest has been made in the armed robbery of a Defiance carryout on April 30.
Rodney Heath of Defiance was charged with felony aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The 45-year-old man was arrested last Thursday and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. He is being charged for the April 30th armed robbery at South Town Market on Cleveland Ave. The robbery matches a similar robbery in Charloe earlier that day. Defiance Police Detective Dave Richards is investigating and working with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office to see if both cases are related.
