Arrest made in murder of Ohio State student

The president of The Ohio State University says the school is “relieved” after a suspect was arrested in the murder of student Reagan Tokes. In a statement released Saturday, Dr. Michael Drake says OSU is grateful for law enforcement’s “swift, collective efforts,” after the 21-year-old was found dead on Thursday. The Grove City Division of Police announced the arrest Saturday afternoon of 29 year old Brian Golsby in connection with the murder of Tokes. Goldsby is no stranger to law enforcement. Grove City Police say he had been serving a sentence after a 2010 rape and robbery case. A Franklin County Grand Jury indicted Golsby on aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and attempted rape in May of 2011. According to The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections Golsby served jail time until his release on November 13, 2016.
