Attempted Abduction Reported In Napoleon

Napoleon Police say an attempted abduc­tion involv­ing a female juve­nile hap­pened on Tues­day after­noon. The girl told police she was walk­ing in the 900 block of Haley Avenue at 3:30 in the after­noon, when a black Chevy Trail­blazer pulled up next to her, and the dri­ver asked her to get in. She said the guy got out of the vehi­cle, and then assaulted her, but was then scared away.

The man police are look­ing for is described as about 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, white, and about 40 years old.

The girl said the guy had a mus­tache and black hair.
