Around Oct. 6, weather permitting, crews from the Edgerton Water Department will begin flushing water mains and exercising fire hydrants throughout the village. Ohio Rail Development Commission approves grant for improvements at Kraft Heinz facility in Fremont.

The Ohio Rail Development Commission is approving grant dollars to help cover the cost of improvements at the Kraft Heinz in facility in Fremont.  One-hundred-fifty-thousand dollars is being awarded and will go toward the nearly one-point-five million dollar project.  Kraft Heinz is committing to retaining 225 jobs at the facility.
