Wood county woman jailed for infant’s death

A Wood County woman is behind bars, accused of killing her infant son. Eliz­a­beth Johns was jailed with­out bond Thurs­day after she was indicted on mur­der and other charges. Pros­e­cu­tors say Johns beat nine-month-old Chrys­t­ian Johns last year in their home, caus­ing deadly head and brain injuries.
