Barton L. “Bart” Frazier, 75

Barton L. “Bart” Frazier, age 75 of Wauseon, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Fulton County Health Center.

Bart was born on June 29, 1942 to the late Leon and the late Ada Pauline (Schwab) Frazier. On June 9, 1963, he married Karen Leymaster, and she survives. He graduated from Wauseon High School and became the fourth generation in the family business, Wauseon Silo and Precast, which he operated for many years. After his retirement, he operated the Wauseon Rollercade for 26 years with his wife. Bart was a member of the former Wauseon Exchange Club, the Wauseon Fire Department, the National Silo Association, the Ohio Precast Concrete Association and served on the church council at Trinity Lutheran Church. He was also active in the Boy Scouts as Pack Leader for Troop 8 and the Cub Scouts Troop 8 Cubmaster. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and going to Canada.

Surviving besides his wife, Karen, are children; Brian Frazier, Beth (Victor) Perez, and Scott Frazier (Pam Cairns) all of Wauseon; and grandchildren Jessica Perez, Andrew Perez, Mary Gilson, and Rachael Gilson. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Moore of Scottsdale, AZ. Bart was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
