Berry Faces Charges

A Montpelier man with a long wrap sheet…is arrested…accused of threatening violence against another village resident. Officers say Melvin Berry beat loudly on the door of a home in the 300 block of West Water Street…while threatening to kill the male and female residents. He also remained on their porch after being told multiple times to leave while continuing to threaten both. He is taken to CCNO on bond. He faces the court soon. No word on why this all happened.
