BFD Is Good

Despite problems maintaining staffing levels, Bryan Fire Chief, Bruce Siders says his department is now rated among the top 2 percent of fire departments nationwide. Siders told Bryan City Council the Insurance Services Office has changed the Department’s rating from a Class 3 to a Class 2 rating. Bryan is one of just 1,663 departments rated Class 1 or Class 2 in the country. It had been ranked Class 3 since 1988.
