Big Medical Deal

Health care provider, ProMedica buys HCR ManorCare. The deal puts ProMedica into the top 15 biggest health systems in the country. The partnership creates a $7 billion health network, with 70,000 employees in 30 states…with headquarters in Downtown Toledo. Insiders say over the next five years, it’s expected ProMedica will invest $400 million into growth and upgrading capital.
