A motion to suppress all statements made by a Grover Hill man to police officers is shot down in court. Judge, Tiffany Beckman overruled the motion to quell Tristen Blair’s comments, to law enforcement, this during two separate occasions. Blair is accused in the death of his 3-month-old son. Blair’s attorney, William Kluge, had sought to suppress the statements Blair had made on the grounds that no Miranda warnings were given when the statements were made. The judge found that when the Oct. 21 statements were given, Blair was not in custody at the time. Another pretrial hearing is set for next week.
