Blood Drives Set

The Amer­i­can Red Cross will hold sev­eral blood dri­ves in two coun­ties. A blood drive will be held on Mon­day, June 29, from 2:30–6:30 p.m. at the Fam­ily Chris­t­ian Cen­ter in Defi­ance. In Pauld­ing County, a blood drive will also be held on June 29, from 2–7 p.m. at the Pauld­ing Church of the Nazarene in Pauld­ing. Another blood drive will be held on Tues­day, June 30, from noon — 6 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne. Blood dona­tions are usu­ally in short sup­ply in the sum­mer. Donors with types O neg­a­tive, A neg­a­tive and B neg­a­tive are espe­cially needed. To sched­ule an appoint­ment, call 800-RED-CROSS.
