Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a boat crash on Lake James in Steuben County. Matthew Meyer of Fort Wayne stopped in his boat to swim and cool off. When he got back on the boat, somehow he turned on the motor, throwing him off. The boat went unattended at full speed into a pontoon hundreds of yards away. One person is injured and treated and released at an area hospital. Officials don’t think alcohol was involved.
