Boy Saved In Blaze

Angola firefighters save a 3-year-old boy from a burning house on County Road West 100 North in Steuben County. Officials say three policemen were first to arrive and were hurt trying to rescue the boy. When firefighters arrive, heavy fire is seen throughout the home. Fire crews went inside to search for survivors. The boy was found, then taken to the hospital in Angola before being transferred to Fort Wayne. No word on the boy’s or the officers’ condition.
