Repairs are underway on the Ohio Turnpike overpass on Ohio 15 at Holiday City. We reported…the bridge was damaged in January…after a semi caught fire and pulled over underneath the span. Although the bridge was stable, overall…the incident resulted in “extensive damage” to the bridge’s concrete pier, concrete deck, components of the steel superstructure and the protective steel coating. That won’t be the end of repairs, though, with a second phase of construction planned later this year. Traffic has been kept off the northbound lanes of Ohio 15, since then.
