The Bronson Pool is another step closer to being demolished. The City Council approved an ordinance to allow a contract with an excavating company to get rid of the unused pool, it’s decking and the baby pool for about $47,000. The company, Helms & Sons Excavating, will leave the auxiliary buildings which include the bathhouse and the water filtering and pumps because there is an interest in creating another water feature in the park.
